Dr Shuvashis Dey is a specialist in micro- and nanoscale device engineering, with focused expertise in microfluidics, biomedical sensing and a broad range of advanced applications. He provides expert guidance, technical solutions and user training in microfluidic systems and device fabrication, CAD modelling, photolithography, direct-write lithography and both wet and dry etching processes.

Dr Shuvashis holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Queensland in 2019, where his research focused on developing microfluidic platforms for biomolecule detection to enable early disease diagnosis and personalised medicine. Since completing his PhD, he has served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN), working on microfluidic innovations for the on-demand synthesis of chemicals and pharmaceuticals.
