To introduce our new LC-40 HPLC and miniDAWN Multi-Angle Light Scattering detector for SEC-MALS systems, ANFF-Q will be hosting a webinar covering:
- A general overview of light scattering fundamentals and how this can be used to determine macromolecular information such as the absolute molecular mass of a polymer and the radius of gyration (Rg).
- The typical hardware and software workflows with an application focus on organic polymer analysis. This will include parameter determination such as analyte DN/DC values and the mobile phase refractive index.
- Advanced functionality unique to Wyatt Technologies such the use of dual concentration detection to calculate the molecular weight of co-polymers such as a polymer/protein complex.
If you would like to access the LC-40 HPLC and miniDAWN Multi-Angle Light Scattering detector for SEC-MALS systems, please email ANFF-Q Professional Officer Dr Javaid Khan.
Your Presenter:
The talk presenter will be Jamie Swaile who has previously worked in the life science industry with companies such as AstraZeneca, GSK and Pfizer. At Shimadzu he has been the Australian product manager for Wyatt Technologies and has set up and trained a number of labs on the different light scattering platforms. This would include St Vincent’s Institute, the Australian Synchrotron, Monash University, RMIT, CSIRO, CSL and Adelaide University.
