An evolution of size exclusion chromatography and gel permeation chromatography

ANFF-Q will be hosting a presentation from guest speaker Michael Gray, Support Specialist at Waters Australia Pty Ltd. The seminar will cover the fundamentals and challenges of size exclusion chromatography (SEC) and gel permeation chromatography (GPC).  The Waters Advanced Polymer Chromatography (APC) System solves many of the challenges of SEC and GPC analysis as well as addressing modern analytical requirements demanded by precision material science. The strategy, technology and column chemistries used by the Waters APC will be explained and discussed.

This presentation will be followed by an afternoon tea and general Q&A session.

About your speaker:

Michael has been working in what is broadly analytical and  separation sciences for approximately twenty years. He completed post-graduate studies on the fundamentals and optimisation of two-dimensional liquid chromatography. Michael has worked in a broad range of industries that comprise the pharmaceutical, natural products, environmental forensics, occupational hygiene and food industries.
